Be Like Drew Event!
SWBLASTFC is privileged to share an invite for everyone to attend our first annual Be Like Drew event reoccurring prior to the summer soccer season. This is part of our commitment to keeping Drew in our hearts. We are currently planning there to be, a BBQ, spots to make bracelets and sign ups for soccer events (trick shots, target hitting and shorter 15 minute half games). If wanted there will also be opportunity for the kids with bikes to use the track. At this event we will officially announce 2 upcoming initiatives that reflect Drew’s giving nature, the Drew Fund (similar to FairPlay Fund or JumpStart) and the Be Like Drew Award for players for years to come.
This event is volunteer dependent and is subject to change. If you are interested in volunteering please email southwestblastfc@outlook.com
This event is possible thanks to the AA Cougars of the Central minor hockey league who raised $1004 with an anonymous donor match, we received $2008 donation in memory of Drew.
This event is and will continue to be open to anyone in the communities, it is not exclusive to BLAST members.
